The PGA Tour Playoffs begin tomorrow (8/27/2015) and we of course have some lineups entered at DraftKings. The Barclays takes place at Plainfield Country Club in Edison, N.J.
As we all know, the key to winning at fantasy golf is to have all your players make the cut, and for those players to get birdies. You don’t have to win the tournament to cash – although that of course is huge as you earn a 30 points bonus, but even 2nd place earns you 20 points and 3rd place 18 points, etc.
And like all contests at DraftKings, you have to find the value players.
In my lineups, I have a few value players that I’m playing that you may want to look into – I’ll give up one – Jason Bohn.
Jason Bohn, at $6,900, offers great value. He has been playing extremely well lately. For the season, he’s made 19 of 24 cuts, but more importantly has been making all the cuts lately.
Plainfield Country Club has big, thick rough so it punishes players who can’t keep the ball on the fairway. And the course is not super long, at around 7,000 yards, so you don’t need a big hitter off the tee, just an accurate one. Bohn is ranked 3rd in driving accuracy on the PGA for this season. He may not win, but you’ll get great value from him on your fantasy team!
