With every passing week, we have more data to analyze which hopefully leads us to better decision making. And there was a lot to learn from Week 4 – like Devonta Freeman following up with ANOTHER 3 touchdown game, Todd Gurley is legit, Roddy White is out and Leonard Hankerson is in, and so much more!
I have 3 different lineups for Week 5, I’m sharing one of them below which includes Thursday night’s game, so there won’t be a whole lot of time for copycats to enter this same lineup against me!
QB Carson Palmer Ari@Det $6,600
RB Le’Veon Bell Pit@SD $8,500
RB Jamaal Charles Chi@KC $7,800
WR Larry Fitzgerald Ari@Det $6,800
WR DeAndre Hopkins Ind@Hou $7,200
WR Willie Snead NO@Phi $3,000
TE Owen Daniels Den@Oak $2,700
FLEX T.J. Yeldon Jax@TB $4,400
DST Giants SF@NYG $2,900
Ok, so this lineup features Carson Palmer who is ranked 4th among QB’s this season averaging 22.35 DraftKings points per game. I have him stacked with of course Larry Fitzgerald who is ranked 2nd among wide receivers averaging 27.05 DraftKings points per game. As if those number aren’t enough, Arizona is facing the 0-4 Detroit Lions, which some sites believe is the worst team in the league!
Le’Veon Bell is the top running back and he’s facing a San Diego defense that can’t stop the run. San Diego gives up the 2nd most fantasy points to the running back position. Good luck with Bell.
Also playing Jamaal Charles – 3rd ranked running back averaging 24.18 fantasy points per game, and he’s facing the Chicago Bears – which many other sources believe is the worst team in the league. KC is a 9 point favorite, so it’s very possible that KC develops a big lead and just runs the ball, giving Charles plenty of rushing attempts.
Next we have DeAndre Hopkins. I don’t normally play a player on Thursday night, but Hopkins is facing the Indianapolis Colts which is giving up the 6th most fantasy points to wide receivers and Andrew Luck will not be playing, so we expect to see a lot of offense from Houston. Not to mention, Hopkins had 22 targets in his last game!! That’s about 50% more targets than the next closest wide receiver from Week 4!
Willie Snead of New Orleans is a great value play at only $3,000. He’s the LEADING receiver at New Orleans when it comes to fantasy points! NO is facing the Philadelphia Eagles which is the 5th worst defense in giving up fantasy points to wide receivers.
Owen Daniels is our tight end, with incredible value at $2,700 facing the Oakland Raiders defense which gives up the most fantasy points to the tight end position.
At the flex position, we have TJ Yeldon of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Yeldon is a volume play against a horrible defense in Tampa Bay. Yeldon had 22 carries and 3 targets in last week’s game.
Our defense is the NY Giants, at home, facing the horrific offense of the San Francisco 49’ers. With a price tag of only $2,900 – this is an incredible value!
So that’s one of our lineups, and why we drafted it!
