Depositing Funds

Now that you have created your FanDuel account, you have the option to fund it. You must make a real money deposit to receive your welcome bonuses.

You can fund your FanDuel account either by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) or PayPal. American Express cardholders can fund through PayPal. Your deposit will get credited into your account in seconds and then you immediately start playing!

FanDuel Promotions & FanDuel Points (FDP)

FanDuel Points (FDPs) are earned automatically every time you enter any cash contest. FDPs are earned at 10X the amount of entry fees. For example, if $5 in entry fees are played in any cash contests, 50 FDPs are earned. The number of FDPs earned for a particular contest is displayed on the draft screen of that contest.

FDPs earned can be used to enter any cash contests instead of using real cash, as long as there are enough FDPs to cover the entry fee of a particular contest. Each contest will specify how many FDPs are needed to enter that contest instead of cash. Currently 2,400 FDPs can be used to enter a $1 cash contest.

FanDuel offers freerolls to players based on their monthly FDP amounts accumulated for each specific month. The FDPs earned in a month do not carry over in regards to qualifying for the FDP freerolls.

FanDuel’s current FDP freeroll levels are listed as follows:

Bronze Level: A free entry into a $2,000 freeroll if at least 1,000 FDPs were earned in one month.
Silver Level: A free entry into a $3,500 freeroll if at least 5,000 FDPs were earned in one month.
Gold Level: A free entry into a $6,500 freeroll if at least 15,000 FDPs were earned in one month.
Platinum Level: A free entry into a $13,000 freeroll if at least 50,000 FDPs were earned in one month.

A player can qualify for as many freerolls if the minimum FDP requirement is satisfied. For example, if a player earned 15,000 FDPs in one month, that player would qualify to enter the Bronze, Silver, and Gold level freerolls at the beginning of the following month.

FDPs cannot be redeemed for cash and the earning rate is subject to change at FanDuel’s discretion.
