Making a Cash Deposit

After registering an account with DraftKings, the next step is to make a deposit to fund this account. DraftKings accounts can be funded by credit/debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Cash deposits can also be done using PayPal and Dwolla.

 

Earning DraftKings FPP’s (Frequent Player Points)

All DraftKings players earn Frequent Player Points – which is a great bonus to active players.

DraftKings FPP’s (Frequent Player Points) are earned every time a paid cash contest is entered into and played. FPP’s earned can be used to buy tickets to enter real money cash contests for free. For example, 1,100 FPP’s can be used to purchase a $2 ticket.

 

For every $1 spent in a paid cash contest, 1 FPP is earned.

DraftKings also offers “Daily Missions” which is a quick way to rack up additional Frequent Player Points (FPPs). For example, a Daily Mission may offer 100 FPPs for playing $4 in any guaranteed prize pool tournaments that day, etc. The types of Daily Missions offered may vary.

DraftKings has implemented a monthly FPP Player Rewards program that provides a free entry into various guaranteed prize pool tournaments depending upon the amount of FPPs earned in a calendar month. The four tier levels offered are as follows:

Tier 1 Bronze level – Free entry into a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament when 1,000 FPPs are earned starting the first day of the previous month.

Tier 2 Silver level – Free entry into a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament when 2,500 FPPs are earned the previous month.

Tier 3 Gold level – Free entry into a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament when 5,000 FPPs are earned the previous month.

Tier 4 Platinum level – Free entry into a $100,000 AND a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament when 20,000 FPPs are earned the previous month.

The FPPs required to reach each level are calculated on FPPs earned for each calendar month, so saving FPPs in your account balance is not necessary.

Your Frequent Player Points balance can be found by visiting the My Account page, under your username at the top right corner of the DraftKings website.

 

Additionally, you can then visit the My Tickets page or the Transaction History page to see any unused tickets you have as well as details on FPP’s earned each day.

 

Spend Your FPP’s on Contest Entries

DraftKings Refer-A-Friend Program

All new players also have the ability to earn money by referring their friends to DraftKings! DraftKings offers an email tool allowing you to email five of your friends at a time to invite them to join DraftKings. DraftKings will track these friends of yours and pay you up to 35% of the revenue they generate!

 

You must also refer at least 2 friends in a 30 day period to maintain the commission levels outlined above. If you fall below the 2 player referral, then the commission rate drops to a flat 20% for that period.

Commissions are paid out in “DK Dollars” – DK Dollars are credited to you player account and can be used to purchase entries into contests. DK Dollars themselves cannot be withdrawn, they must be played. However, any winnings from playing contests with DK Dollars is as good as cash and can be withdrawn.
